Boone Center, Inc. Inclusive Manufacturing Summer Camp Returns July 13–August 7, 2026
(St. Peters, Mo., April 14, 2026) Boone Center, Inc. (BCI)—a nonprofit dedicated to creating employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities—is now accepting applications for its Inclusive Manufacturing Summer Camp. The four-week camp will run July 13 through August 7 out of BCI’s vocational training center at 16010 Spencer Road in St. Peters, Mo.
The instructor-facilitated camp is designed for high school students with intellectual or developmental disabilities who are interested in exploring hands-on learning in the manufacturing industry. Participants engage in interactive activities, field trips to local manufacturing companies, skill-building exercises, and the development of a capstone project that showcases their learning and growth.
“Over the years, we’ve seen campers walk into this program unsure of what’s possible and walk out having completed high school, advanced through BCI’s vocational training, and ultimately earned competitive jobs with local manufacturers,” said BCI CEO Troy Compardo. “That journey is what makes this camp so powerful—it doesn’t just teach skills, it opens doors that can change the entire direction of a person’s future.”
The program is offered at no cost to participants, making it accessible to students and families across the region. At this time, 12 openings remain for the 2026 camp experience.
Interested students should apply online at https://form.jotform.com/bciwebadmin/SFCampMO2026.
This marks the fourth year the program has been offered, thanks to grant funding from SparkForce, the charitable foundation of the Fabricators and Manufacturers Association. The camp continues to serve as a pathway for students to explore career opportunities, build confidence, and gain real-world exposure to the manufacturing sector.
