ST. PETERS, MO – Local business leaders and community members gathered at The Skate Haus Lounge on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, to celebrate a milestone that blends recreation with a mission. CEO and Founder Rhonda Taylor led the ribbon-cutting ceremony, which served as both an official welcome to the facility and the formal launch of a new foundation: Giant Rocket – Pull Up for Inclusion. The Skate Haus Lounge is located at 2015 Campus Drive in St. Charles

The event coincided with the start of Autism Awareness Month, highlighting the foundation's dedication to creating space for individuals of all abilities. Giant Rocket – Pull Up for Inclusion is a non-profit organization focused on providing resources, support, and inclusive programming for neurodivergent individuals and their families. By removing barriers to participation, the foundation ensures that everyone has the opportunity to engage in community activities in a safe and welcoming environment.

The Skate Haus Lounge serves as the physical home for this mission. The facility was designed with inclusion at its core, featuring sensory-friendly hours, specialized equipment, and staff trained to support various needs. This partnership allows the foundation to host educational workshops and social events directly within a venue that champions the idea that movement and social connection should be accessible to all.

During the ceremony, Taylor emphasized that the foundation is about more than just a physical space; it is about building a culture where inclusion is the standard rather than the exception. The launch marks the beginning of a series of community initiatives planned throughout the year to advocate for better integration and support services in the region.
