ST. CHARLES KIWANIS CLUB INSTALLS WENDY RACKOVAN AS 2025-2026 PRESIDENT DURING 90TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION

ST. CHARLES, MO – October 7, 2025 – The St. Charles Kiwanis Club celebrated its 90th Anniversary and Installation Banquet on Friday, October 3, 2025, at Bogey Hills Country Club, where Wendy Rackovan, Vice President of Marketing & Communications for the St. Charles Regional Chamber, was officially installed as the club’s new President for the 2025-2026 year.

Lt. Governor Paula Staten-O’Connell swore in the new board and officers, marking the start of the club's 91st year of service to the children of the St. Charles community and the world.

“Being elected President is an incredible honor, especially during the club’s 90th anniversary,” said Rackovan. “Kiwanis is all about helping kids and giving back. My job at the Chamber is to connect people, and as Kiwanis President, I get to connect even more community leaders to our mission of service. We have a solid foundation, and I'm ready to get to work to make our 91st year the best one yet.”

The celebratory event, which commemorated nine decades of community impact, featured Art Holliday, recently retired from KSDK-Channel 5 and a St. Charles native, as the keynote speaker. The club also recognized Tommy Stevenson as the Kiwanian of the Year. Both Mr. Holliday and Mr. Stephenson were inducted into the St. Charles High School Hall of Fame the following day, Saturday, October 4.

Proclamations honoring the club’s long history of service were presented by Mayor Dan Borgmeyer from the City of St. Charles and MO State Representative Colin Wellenkamp.


About the St. Charles Kiwanis Club Founded in 1935, the St. Charles Kiwanis Club is a nonprofit service organization dedicated to improving the world one child and one community at a time. The club focuses on local projects that support the needs of children in the St. Charles area and has sponsored Key Clubs at St. Charles High School, Duchesne High School, and St. Charles West High School. The club meets on Tuesdays at noon at Gingham's Restaurant in St. Charles.
